Lenore MacAdam
Board Director
Lenore MacAdam brings a unique, authentic perspective that balances creativity and passion with an analytical, business-oriented focus.
Her professional background includes developing corporate DEI and accessibility strategies, and deep experience in management consulting, human resources and organizational development. Leveraging her broad professional background, Lenore integrates the needs and rights of people with business priorities.
Lenore was the National Inclusion Leader at Deloitte Canada, reporting to the Chief Inclusion Officer, and she also served as the National Chair of the LGBTQ Employee Resource Group, and the Accessibility Employee Resource Group. She was also responsible for AODA implementation at Deloitte. In her most recent role, Lenore led the design, development and execution of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy at Corus Entertainment, reporting to the CEO and advising the Board and Executive Leadership Team.
As a volunteer, Lenore was the Chair of the Board of Pride at Work Canada, Co-Chair of the Board of Pride Toronto and Chair of the Community One Foundation. She was also a Board Member of Springtide Resources, and the Nexus Group at the Rotman School of Management.
In 2018, Lenore received the ‘Community Contributor of the Year’ Award of Success from the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion. In 2019, she received the Lynda Bowles Spirit Award from Deloitte Canada, and was a finalist for the 2019 Canadian Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce Business Leader of the Year Award.
Lenore has a BAH in Communications from Queen’s University and an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.
