The DSO is bringing a delegation to the Toronto International Film Festival and Industry Conference 2025. Applications close on August 10.

The Disability Screen Office is thrilled to share that we will bring a delegation of four GTA-based individuals to the Toronto International Film Festival to attend the festival (September 4 to 14, 2025) and Industry Conference (September 5-9, 2025). This conference offers a place to connect with film professionals and explore the art and business of cinema.

Our program is offered to persons with disabilities living in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) who historically, statistically, and currently face barriers in accessing opportunities in the screen industry. This delegation opportunity is best intended for producers, writers, and individuals working in business affairs in the screen industry.

The Disability Screen Office jury will be evaluating applicants based on your current role in the industry, how you will benefit from attending either or both festivals, and how participating in this delegation will support your future goals. Recognizing the multiple barriers that persons with disabilities with intersecting identities experience, we strongly encourage applications from people with disabilities across all dimensions of diversity.

Participants will receive one (1) complimentary Industry pass valid for the length of the festival (September 4-14). Details about what this pass grants access to, including all Industry Conference sessions and Press & Industry film screenings, can be found on the TIFF website.
