2023-2024 Annual Report
The Disability Screen Office is thrilled to share that we will bring a delegation of four disabled creatives to the 30th edition of the Prime Time industry conference, taking place from January 29 to 31, 2025 at the Westin Ottawa. At Prime Time, Canadian and global leaders in broadcasting, television, feature film and media policy gather in the nation’s capital for three days of thought leadership, workshops, unprecedented market access, and networking opportunities.
We are pleased to invite applications for a delegation of two Ottawa-local disabled creatives and two disabled creatives from anywhere in Canada to attend Prime Time. This delegation opportunity is offered to persons with disabilities who historically, statistically, and currently face barriers to accessing opportunities in the screen industry. It is best intended for producers, writers, and individuals working in business affairs in the screen sector.
The Disability Screen Office jury will evaluate applicants based on their current roles in the industry, how attending this conference will benefit them, and how participating in this delegation will support their future goals. Recognizing the multiple barriers that persons with disabilities with intersecting identities experience, we strongly encourage applications from people with disabilities across all dimensions of diversity. We also strongly encourage applications from those living outside of Ontario.
